Haugesund Cruise Port

Haugesund is a city in the county of Rogaland, in  Norway. The historical village of Avaldsnes, sometimes known as Norway’s birthplace, is 8.5 km south of Haugesund.

Cruise ships to Haugesund dock at the Garpeskjærskaien Quay , on the west side of Risøy island just southwest of the town center, which welcomed its first cruise ship in 2013. Free bus shuttle service from the pier to Our Savior’s Church (Vår Frelsers Kirke) is provided, but the 800 m distance to the town center is also walkable.

Please Note – when booking a private excursion that is not operated by the cruise line it is your responsibility to ensure that you are back in port in good time for the ‘All Aboard’ time. We suggest allowing at least 1 hour after your ships arrival in port to allow for immigration clearances and plan to be back in port at least 1 hour before ‘All Aboard’ time to allow for any traffic issues etc on your return journey.
